The Colleague experience group provides a great colleague experience every day. Responsible for people management, including acquiring talent, developing and retaining colleagues worldwide, and being responsible for key programs like compensation, benefits, diversity, and colleague and labor relations.
Reporting to the Director, International Colleague Strategic Partner Italy, this role will be responsible for supporting deliverables to drive business outcomes for the Italy market for approximately 1,300 colleagues.
Aligned to the design and delivery of the Italy Market Colleague Plan (MCP), you will:Serve as a point of integration for Colleague Strategic Partners (CSPs), Centres of Excellence (COEs), and the broader CEG team to ensure the alignment and effective deployment of key initiatives.Partnering with business leaders and COEs to build the employment brand in the Italy Market, supporting local initiatives and representing AXP externally.Partnering with Int. CSP across the Market and COEs to build the CVP and ensure that initiatives are implemented as per scheduled timeline.Supporting change initiatives with business partners to provide meaningful solutions aligned to the evolving needs of the Business and the growth of our colleagues.Leading Market Int. CSP communications.Passionate about bringing our CEG Strategy to life, across our 4 pillars:Participate in the deployment of Career Growth at Amex, aligned to Blue Box values and Leadership Behaviours.Partner with CSPs on the development and careers of key talent through talent assessments and succession planning.Lead targeted development initiatives for top talent, in partnership with the business.Culture:Contribute to the delivery of committed DE&I pledges and HR regulatory reporting, aligning and partnering with CEG COEs.Support the American Express disability inclusion strategy and increase Italy voluntary Self-ID declaration rates through local market activation and communication to advise future DE&I strategies.Partner with Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) to use recruitment insights to advise and drive market talent strategy, embed partnership to support internal and external pipelines, including diverse hires and movement.Bring the CVP to life for colleagues by continuing to deliver and improve the Italy onboarding experience for new hires.Support the evolution of an inclusive Italy Benefits strategy to meet the current and future needs of Italy colleagues, ensuring that changes are communicated clearly to colleagues and partners (e.g. Colleague Networks).Minimum QualificationsOutstanding written and verbal communication skills.Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills with senior team members, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed structure, challenge the status quo, and confront difficult issues.Demonstrable experience in managing data with analytical skills and using external perspective.Excellent project management skills with the proven track record to lead and flawlessly deliver large scale strategic projects and initiatives.Understanding of the local talent landscape, pipeline, and labour market and Eye for business.Strong PC and Microsoft office skills including but not limited to Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Proficiency both in Italian and English.We back our colleagues and their loved ones with benefits and programs that support their holistic well-being.
