About the Job
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Solutions Engineering team in Seoul. This role will reinforce our Solutions Engineering team by supporting customers using our Qt framework in Korea. Your responsibilities include efficiently handling support requests, offering technical assistance through email and virtual meetings, as well as identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to Qt. In this role, one can be at the beginning of their career but should be highly motivated and have some experience in software development. You should be passionate about great customer service and always interested in helping customers achieve their goals.
You will:
Conduct in-depth analysis of the Android Native Framework, including Surface Flinger and Rendering Engine. Develop and execute strategies for porting relevant modules of the Qt Framework to the Android Native Framework level. Solve technical issues and perform optimization tasks during the porting process. Collaborate with other engineers in the team to achieve project goals. Conduct performance and stability testing of the ported solutions. Understand technical customer requirements and find solutions together with Product Management / R&D. Provide strategic and senior-level product presentations, demonstrations, and trade show support. Process support requests from prospects and customers who are developers using our Qt framework and Android OS. Provide optimal Qt coding solutions for customers. Work closely with customers and help them achieve their goals. Provide technical support via email and, in some cases, virtual meetings. Create new and translate existing technical content into Korean to support our onboarding offering. About you:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Deep understanding of Android Native Framework, especially Surface Flinger and Rendering Engine. Practical experience with Qt Framework and participation in porting projects. Proficiency in C++ and Java programming languages. Experience in Linux kernel and driver development. Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking. Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team. Excellent presentation, demonstration, and facilitation skills in leading meetings, trials, and projects. Good written and verbal communication skills with both internal stakeholders and customers. Qt knowledge is a clear advantage. Development experience and understanding of OpenGL or 3D engines is preferred. Experience with Android Automotive is preferred. Native-level Korean and good English language skills. What we offer:
