What you'll do here: Build video pipelines to stream data from cameras to both local and cloud applications Write high-performance, compiled software to process and deliver data to our production systems and ML teams Work with cloud platform teams to design, develop, debug and support our scalable data platform, and its internal services. Work with the application teams to design, develop, debug and support new use-cases for video ingestion, retrieval and manipulation Work on our tech stack, which includes Rust, gstreamer, GCP/GCS, Docker/Kubernetes, opentelemetry/grafana What you've done before: You've developed great coding skills, and are proficient in at least one compiled system language, such as Rust, C++, Go You've created video streaming pipelines and you grew familiar with the challenges involved and ways to address them You've worked on code optimization, and are able to write applications that make efficient use of resources You're comfortable with cloud environments, containerization frameworks and continuous integration platforms Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English Who we are: Standard AI is at the forefront of applying artificial intelligence and computer vision to solve the hardest challenges in physical retail spaces.
