We are currently a small team of motivated individual who are deeply interested in building decentralised solutions to empower people socially and financially in a legal and privacy-protecting environment . We are self-organising and you will be supported by experienced individuals but trusted from day one. We value ideas and concerns especially those that differ from existing ones. You will be expected to share your questions / opinions / experiences / concerns as you see fit in a transparent and constructive way. You will be collaborating with a team to design, deliver, test, document and deploy decentralised applications to reach the NYMLAB mission.
Responsibilities
You must be interested in the entire development process, from ideation to production. This includes:
Learning & understanding cryptographic primitives and their application in financial applications
Designing, implementing, and documenting web applications that interface with blockchains
Working with DevOps to ensure smooth system deployment and upgrades
Requirements
Extensive experience with delivering and testing production applications using modern web technologies (React, Webpack, Tailwind, Next.js, jest, mocha, etc)
Experience with designing tools like Figma
Hands on experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g. Cloudflare)
Interests in blockchain technologies and delivery to mainstream users with intuitive UX and user protection
Worked with package and dependency management, git workflow, CICD, CF workers
Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and TypeScript
Proficiency with Docker / container technologies
Nice to Haves
Worked in Neobank type financial applications
Experienced in decentralised identity / verifiable credentials / SSI technologies
Experience with OAuth / OpenID Connect / WebAuthn workflow
