We are CARDI, a leading manufacturer of diamond drilling, sawing, and cutting equipment for the construction industry.
We have launched our first core drill in 1985 and we have come a long way since then.
Today construction workers and professionals worldwide can count on CARDI's wide range of diamond core drills, blade saws, chainsaws and diamond tools when they are out on the construction site.
The role To support our international growth, we are looking for a Senior Sales Manager , who is passionate about Sales and Business Development.
You will manage existing key accounts, develop new accounts and markets and work on company-wide strategic projects.
The role is part of our Sales and Marketing department.
As Senior Sales Manager , you will report to management, and you will have continuous interactions with other functions as Finance, Operations, Product Development and external stakeholders.
Open positions: 2 What you will be doing Main tasks are: -Analyse markets, customers trends, products, competitors and identify insights -Lead assessment of potential opportunities (profitability, risks etc.
), developing business cases supported by analytics, to present to management -Define the sales development plans for your assigned areas, from the definition of the go-to-market strategy to its execution and monitoring -Drive growth by developing new markets, adding key accounts and building partnerships with strategic actors, in order to expand our distribution network -Define and implement strategic sales projects, in collaboration with other functions and external partners -Be accountable for the results of your assigned areas, based on KPIs and objectives defined by management -Manage key international customer accounts (distributors, dealers) and strategic partners -Drive growth within existing distribution network, by defining customer-specific plans and initiatives and monitoring their progress -Implement plans / initiatives (e.g., train distributors' salesforce, plan and roll out the launch of new products, support CARDI's presence online and at trade shows etc.)
-Be accountable for the results of your assigned areas, based on KPIs and objectives defined by management c) Team -Supervise and motivate junior team members -Review the performance and identify training needs of junior team members -Support the structuring of the sales team -Contribute to the definition and execution of the strategy for the Sales and Marketing department -Evaluate opportunities for improvement, developing data-driven business cases, to be presented to management -Design and lead cross-functional transformation projects, focused on Sales -Work with management to implement the company's policies and goals and be responsible for the results of the assigned projects Experience and qualifications Required: -8-year experience in Sales, at management-level -Valuable experience in managing large international strategic accounts / partners in a big and structured organization -Valuable experience in building new markets, in acquiring new international strategic accounts and in building partnerships in a big and structured organization -Valuable experience in designing and leading complex cross-functional transformation projects, with focus on Sales -Valuable experience in managing and structuring a team -Excellent academic background in STEM, Management, Economics or related disciplines -Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint -Ability to work independently with limited supervision and to manage / grow own customer portfolio -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, from structuring issues to designing solutions -Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and manage cross-functional teams independently and present insights to senior management -Great team player, able to collaborate with other teams and stakeholders at all levels -Pragmatic commercial mindset, comfortable with change, ambiguity and able to take decisions with limited data availability -Willing to travel up to 20% of the time, worldwide Plus: -Experience in the construction / power tools industry -Experience in influencing senior management -International work or study experience -Fluent in German Our offer -A competitive salary package -A challenging job in a dynamic and flexible environment : take the opportunity to work on strategic cross-functional projects and drive change across the entire organization -Small company but with a global presence : get the chance to see all company functions at work and to acquire a wide range of managerial skills, as in a startup, while being exposed to a global environment -Learning and contributing : get the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while being able to contribute with your perspective to the direction of the Sales department -An ambitious and fast-paced environment : your work will bring a huge impact on our growth and also on our team and customers worldwide -A hybrid office policy : we offer the flexibility to work from home; we will discuss the principles, eligibility and frequency of our hybrid work model with you.
