Senior Research Associate Position

The INFN National Laboratories in Frascati (LNF) has opened a senior position for one year, renewable for an additional two years, to work on the new Inner Tracker of the ATLAS detector for the High Luminosity phase of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN.

The LNF group is in charge of the assembly and commissioning of one outer pixel endcap detector, equipped with ~1000 silicon modules.

There is a wide range of activities where the candidate could have a strong impact:
Testing silicon modules;
Developing the data acquisition and the detector control system;
Managing large detector systems;
Measuring thermal-mechanical stresses.
We search for a motivated researcher, able to work in a team and in large international collaborations.
