About the Role:We are currently looking for a talented Senior Regulatory Specialistwho will ensure that our product recipes are compliant with applicable local and international regulations as well as internal Ferrero standards.
You will work in a highly dynamic and international environment within Ferrero, joining our Product Integrity Recipes Teaminside the Group Food Safety & Product Integrity Center with the following tasks and responsibilities.
Main Responsibilities:Regulatory compliance & technical scientific evaluation of new industrial & experimental recipes and compliance assessment due to regulation changes;Technical and regulatory interpretation of regulations/standards and their application;Creation of technical documentation for labeling purposes and to support requests (e.g. from authorities, customs);Technical scientific support to the Legal Department on matters related to labeling and claims;Support product development by regulatory guidance and assessment;Nutritional information calculation and management to support product design and product labeling;Maintenance of accurate, up-to-date records and databases and ensuring data integrity;Management of workflows in dedicated electronic systems (e.g. Devex);Project management related to regulatory processes as well as initiation and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the area of responsibility.Who we are looking for:Requirements Master's Degree in Food Science/Technology, Food Chemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy or similar;At least 5 years of working experience in an international environment (Food Industry, ingredients, chemical, cosmetics, consumer goods) with background in Regulatory Function;Strong communication skills & able to communicate complex subjects in a concise way;Excellent cross-functional collaboration;At ease in dealing with ambiguity and change;Fast learner;Relationship management with different stakeholders, international mindset;Willing to relocate in Italy and in other Countries;Full availability for business trips.IT Skills Excellent command of PC (Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint);Knowledge of Devex is a plus.Languages Italian and other languages are considered as a plus.How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:Consumers, quality and care are at the heart of everything we do.
