About the role Our EMEA Regional Procurement team is integrated into the Solvay Global Procurement Organisation department.
As a Senior Procurement Regional Site Buyer, you will be a member of the site Leadership Team and you will manage and coordinate all sourcing & tactical purchasing activities of all goods and services required for our Rosignano (LI) production site.
You are leading the local procurement team and the implementation of the Solvay Procurement processes and Governance to ensure efficient procurement operations.
You will lead specific transversal purchasing regional initiatives and/or contribute across the entire region spend portfolio for Opex & Capex.
You will be accountable for: The site's stakeholders relationship management to identify priorities, needs, issues, areas of improvement, smart alternatives and cost-effective innovation opportunities Sourcing, negotiating, and managing local and regional contracts within your scope in coordination with Category Leads (CL) when applicable Accountable for total spend and saving targets in your perimeter Implementing and monitoring compliance according to the global/regional category strategies, medium and small Capex procurement plans as well as the policies, processes and procedures Identifying and implementing continuous improvement Procurement performance by frequently assessing requesters/clients' satisfaction, considering feedback and identifying/leading productivity actions with sites and regional procurement management We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid-working mode (present on site at least 3/4 days per week).
About you University degree in Engineering, Science, Economical/Business Administration or similar.
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of industrial experience working at a plant and a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in Procurement roles.
Competencies: Understanding of technical & plant processes.
Knowledge of contracts, country/regional regulations.
High familiarity with digital tools.
SAP knowledge is a plus.
Use of e-sourcing tool.
Italian.
English.

About the pay and benefits Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role.
While the French base pay reasonably expected for this role is 49000 to 62000€, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience.
