This position is a fixed term full-time opportunity commencing immediately until 30 June 2025.

About the Role This leadership role supports the State's financial administration and policy development of recovery funding. This position supports the Recovery Funding Directorate, working within a diverse and skilled team, across local governments, state agencies, the private and non-government sector and communities to administer Recovery Funding.
The primary focus of the role is to lead the development of business tools and templates that will assist in improving the delivery of Recovery Funding. You will provide analysis and advice on the Recovery Funding process, policies, procedures, and systems to support business improvement ensure Recovery Funding is effective and supports the resilience of Western Australian communities and the assets they value. You will have a demonstrated ability to define and streamline processes to support the improvement of business.
We aim to build a diverse team with a broad skill set. An important character trait of people joining our team will be to enjoy working collaboratively, positively, and provide exceptional leadership and a willingness to support the broader Resilience and Recovery Portfolio within DFES.
Advance skills in in MS Excel, business analytics/power apps software, data analysis and excellent communication skills are required.

Employment Conditions and Additional Information DFES is an emergency services organisation and all employees may be required to work or travel outside of normal business hours to assist with emergencies.
