The Senior Proposal Engineer will be responsible for applying a standard work that promotes the adoption of the packages and systems product configurations and product solutions closest to customer needs, ensuring engineering efficiency and flawless execution in the OTR phase while maximizing cost competitiveness of technical proposals. As a Senior Proposal Engineer, you will be responsible for: Releasing specific proposal documents such as P&ID, General Arrangement, weight list, load list, and C&E to support the AE/sales team in releasing a technical offer with a high level of quality, aligned to customer technical requirements and on time as per proposal phase planning.Executing feasibility studies on disciplines pertinent to Packages and Systems domain to align BH standard products to specific customer needs.Being informed about product configurators and product datasheets and fostering their use as a baseline for the technical proposal to speed up proposal delivery consistent with our quality standards and to certify an integrated and consistent hand-off from ITO to OTR phase.Applying standard work based on robust technical risk management, maximizing tool adoption, and assuring engagement of the right level of technical authority for each proposal.
This will include NU Core and CTS support.Supporting the Product Configuration Manager in developing and maintaining product configurators proactively, reporting feedback on content and usability, voice of customer, and lessons learned.Defining technical guidance for Application Engineering by drafting or approving internal policy (ETO).Collaborating in processes related to engineering engagement in ITO.Assuring quality awareness through lessons learned implementation, technical notes issuing, and resolutions of top issues.Being a role model in the BH cultural transformation inspired by BH behaviors.Providing strong guidance and contribution to bring innovative ideas to improve product design, performance, and quality.Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:
