Maintaining the Microsoft Portfolio of several projects across multiple countries which are strategic or transformative for the corporation.
Might lead other Project Managers or Process Analysts.What you'll do:Support and drive project delivery within the business as required.
Projects will be varied and wide ranging encompassing all areas of the business.Apply best practice methodology and standards to provide project documentation including project plans to ensure timely execution of activities and the delivery of all projects on time and to quality.Project planning, tracking and reporting.Mobilise the project team and the business to ensure both are focussed and supportive of delivering effective change.Provide ongoing constructive challenge to shape and influence best project outcomes.Promote project management by providing a consistent and professional service to the business.Provide coaching and support to those delivering projects across the business.Develop good working relationships with key individuals within the business and those external to the business as required.Is pan-European in nature so therefore involves business travel across multiple European countriesWould involve managing multiple projects simultaneouslyProjects are usually directional/strategic in nature so require solution design & business justificationHave multiple senior stakeholders so require senior stakeholder engagement & buy inProjects may be transformational & therefore require strong change management skillsMight have direct reports for the duration of a project or some permanent direct reports if requiredChampion project management best practice within the organisation & provide consultative services to other project management individualsProvide direction to other organisational units managing their own projectsManagement of a series of cross-functional teams & other project managersHelp take & facilitate decisions to ensure smooth running of projects & provide a fit for purpose solutionProvide program management to a portfolio of projects under one heading.
