Microsoft Defender or Endpoint is a service that helps enterprises detect, investigate, and respond to advanced attacks on their networks.
Building on the existing security defenses Windows 10 offers today, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint provides a new post-breach layer of protection to the Windows 10 security stack and across other platforms.
With a combination of client technology built into Windows 10 and a robust cloud service, helps detect threats that have made past other defenses, provide enterprises with information to investigate the breach across endpoints, and offer response recommendations.
**Responsibilities**:
The Customer Acceleration Team helps execute after a deal is closed with onboarding our strategic customers, gathering requirements, helping with customer feedback and using data to drive feature feedback and product truth back to our core engineering teams.
We are focused on scaling out to meet these challenges in the face of incredible growth.
As a part of the team, you will roll up your sleeves to give technical deep dives, troubleshooting and expertise to help enable our customers to deploy, consume and use our market leading security capabilities.
Customer focus:
In this role, the Product Manager will work with internal and external customers on understanding/anticipating their needs and identify differentiated integration & innovation opportunities to solve the problems and delight the customers.
Product Definition:
The Product manager will convert customer requirements into crisp, prioritized product roadmap, backlog, specifications with clear objectives and key results to measure success.
Technical Excellence:
The Product Manager is responsible for working with engineering ensuring that the product truth is grounded in technical excellence.
The PM will be expected to continuously identify opportunities for leveraging automation and AI at scale to help meet/exceed the scale, performance, security, reliability, operational efficiency goals for the service and business.
Data Driven Decisions:
The Product Manager will be responsible for defining KPIs, ensuring every aspect of the service is instrumented and delve deep into the data to identify key insights and drive decisions based on them.
Collaboration:
The Product Manager will identify and own problems and collaborate with partner teams to solve them.
The PM will be expected to create an inclusive environment that brings a diverse set of ideas tothe table to deliver innovative, high quality, timely solutions to the problems.
Operational Excellence:
The Product Manager will work with each component team ensuring we have high confidence project plans and execution rhythm leadings to timely, high-quality delivery.
**Qualifications**:
- Strong background in cybersecurity is a must
- Strong technical problem-solving skills
- Track record of identifying and filling gaps in field, customer, and/or partner readiness
- Ability to work with customers and partners (Business Decision Makers, CISOs and Leaders), speaking on behalf of Engineering, helping them understand our value proposition and our services
- Solid experience in advocating on behalf of the customer to make our products even stronger
- Relentless drive for results
- Proven track record driving the prioritization of a backlog based on actual customer evidence
- Collaborative attitude coupled with ability to work toward customer & business goals
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Personal drive and impact with a desire to roll up your sleeves and make things happen
- Technical curiosity and aptitude to quickly understand service capabilities, technical issues and customer needs
- Ability to both demonstrate flexibility and build out scalable programs as we evolve from a startup to a mature service
- 3- years of experience in cross-group, cross-functional engineering roles
- 3- years of experience with cybersecurity
- Outstanding customer satisfaction track record
