How will you make an impact? As Production Manager, you will be in charge of: Production performance management Build and maintain good relationships with vendors. With the support of your team, monitor production performance at each step of the process. Define and edit Performance KPI, with Vendor Rating, for manufacturers. Animate regular meetings with each partner for performance review and follow up with your team on the implementation of action plans. Support your team operationally with prioritization for capacity allocation at manufacturers, and manage priorities or action plans at the Pelletteria Richemont logistic center for shipments to the Montblanc logistic center. In coordination with continuous improvement teams, lead improvement actions to reduce production lead-times. Guaranteeing the success of the Maison's launch plan for novelties, with deliveries on time, meeting the requested profitability and quality requirements: Gain a deep understanding of the Maison's culture and major challenges. Ensure efficient coordination between purchasing, industrialization, and production phases, in order to guarantee novelties on time, at the right price, and appropriate quality. Prepare alerts/reports with operational teams if discrepancies arise. Follow the milestones of novelties projects on a weekly basis. Participate actively in the weekly novelties meeting and provide corrective actions to any production/purchasing issues. Work with the Industrialization & Purchasing Team to shorten the Time To Market of novelties, identify process bottlenecks, and implement solutions in a timely manner. Managing mid and long-term planning activities for LG: Run the monthly cycle of planning in PRF, in collaboration with manufacturers and the Maison's Operations teams. Prepare workload analysis for mid/long-term horizons and validate with the Montblanc development team for manufacturer allocations. Propose alternatives to Montblanc Operations teams in case of overload or potential lack of production. In collaboration with the Industrial Director, research new partners if needed and define ramp-up plans. Synthesize the agreed plan for the whole horizon after the MPS meeting. Communicate major changes to all PRF departments compared to previous cycles. Products cost efficiency: Monitor material consumptions on a monthly basis. Request adjustments in consumption when needed or define action plans with PRF departments and manufacturers to reduce consumptions. In collaboration with the Costing department, implement actions to reduce COGS on a regular basis while assuring quality standards. HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US? Degree in Engineering / Business Management or equivalent is preferred. 8-10 years of experience as a Production planning and/or control expert within a structured Group/Brand in the Leather Goods industry. At least one experience as a manager of a team. Ability to manage flows and methods of finished products on toll manufacturing by interacting with external factories. Proficiency in English (B2 Level or more). Knowledge of the workings of ERP systems (knowledge of SAP will be considered a strong plus).
