Dolce Gabbana, a leader in the world of luxury fashion, for its in-house Beauty Division has an exceptional career opportunity available for a Senior Product Manager Skincare.The ideal candidate will lead the development of luxury skincare products, ensuring they align with our brand's high standards of quality, innovation, and market relevance.Key Responsibilities:Product Development Strategy: Define and implement product development strategies for luxury skincare products, aligning with the brand's vision and market trends.Market Analysis and Research: Conduct thorough market analysis and consumer research to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in the luxury skincare market.
Use insights to drive product innovation and development.Concept Ideation and Validation: Lead brainstorming sessions to generate new product concepts.
Validate concepts through feasibility studies, consumer testing, and feedback.Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from concept to launch.
Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with RD, marketing, design, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of product development activities.
Foster a collaborative environment to drive innovation and efficiency.Packaging Development: Collaborate with packaging designers to create innovative and luxurious packaging solutions that reflect the brand's identity and appeal to the target market.Claims Substantiation and Compliance: Develop and substantiate product claims, ensuring they are scientifically backed and compliant with regulatory standards.
Coordinate with legal and regulatory teams to secure necessary approvals.Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet the highest quality standards.
Coordinate with quality assurance teams to implement rigorous testing protocols and resolve any issues that arise.Leading the Perfect Global Launch: Identify essential support elements for successful product launches in collaboration with communication, merchandising, and trade marketing teams, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Develop comprehensive launch plans, including marketing strategies, promotional activities, and sales training materials.Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track product performance metrics, including sales, market share, and consumer feedback.
Provide regular reports and insights to senior management, recommending improvements and adjustments as needed.Qualifications and Experience:Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
Advanced degree preferred.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development within the luxury beauty or skincare industry.Skills:Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with business objectives and market trends.Creativity and Innovation: Proven track record of developing innovative products that resonate with consumers and stand out in the market.Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget.Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making.Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and standards in the skincare industry.Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (written and oral).
Knowledge of Italian is a plus.Special Skills:Luxury Market Insight: In-depth understanding of the luxury market and consumer behavior, with the ability to create products that align with luxury brand values.Claims Expertise: Expertise in developing and substantiating product claims, ensuring they are credible, compelling, and compliant with regulatory standards.Innovation Management: Ability to drive innovation by staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer preferences.
