The role We're hiring for a Senior Product Manager to lead on the delivery of advanced business intelligence (BI) solutions in the retail industry.
This is a business-oriented strategic role suitable for someone with a passion for data-centric analytical products.
Joining the Data & BI team and reporting into the VP, Business Intelligence, this role is responsible for the product management of corporate BI solutions (MicroStrategy and Tableau) as well as the long-term BI platform roadmap.
Some of the responsibilities include Leverage your business acumen to translate business requirements into features and activities as well as development objectives for the engineering teams.
Suggest roadmap planning and content for review to Senior Management and Executive teams.
Contribute to Data Governance policies, leading the activation by defining opportunities and rolling out processes.
Define the long-term BI solution vision including scope, choice of platform, training program, and lead the activation in collaboration with Product Managers.
Collaborate with and empower the team (Development Lead, Product Managers, Infrastructure and Ops Managers) to efficiently deliver BI products.
Partner with peers across the organisation, ensuring products are delivered in line with the expectations of both internal teams and external customers.
To apply, you should have Strong hands-on experience across multiple BI platforms (MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
Exposure to enterprise Databases, ETL, and data warehousing.
Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modelling / mapping, methodology development and data modelling.
Worked as a Product Manager or Product Owner (desirable) in an Agile / Scrum environment.
Experience activating Data governance policies (desirable).
The ability to collaborate with business counterparts (commercial, finance, other product functions) to understand and formalise their needs.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, project management, and prioritisation skills.
The ability to work with dislocated teams in a global, multicultural environment.
