The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Trieste (IT), but Vaasa, Helsinki, and Turku (FI) are also possible locations.What you will be doingProcess automation is an important enabler of high-performing processes within Wärtsilä Global Logistics Services (WGLS).
Today, we operate over 150 processes that have been automated with the help of RPAs (UiPath), and new automated activities are continuously planned and developed.
In addition, we are also developing new automation solutions through concepts like intelligent Business Process Management (iBPM) and Process Orchestration.
We are now looking for a (Senior) Process Automation Expert to support continuous development of process automation within WGLS.In this position, you will focus on maintaining and developing RPA solutions and environment in collaboration with our stakeholders.
You will also have an important role during our SAP S/4 Hana implementation program, as we need to ensure that our RPAs continue working in the new ERP environment.
Additionally, you will play a key role in the evaluation and definition of our Process Orchestration partner.As (Senior) Process Automation Expert, your work will focus on these responsibilities:Develop and maintain RPAs in scope of WGLSExplore and identify new opportunities for RPA developments together with our main business stakeholdersParticipate in RPA environment development and maintenance activitiesEnsure WGLS RPAs will continue to work after SAP S/4 Hana implementationRepresent WGLS organization towards central RPA community and participate in cross-organizational developmentsCoordinate, develop and support WGLS RPA Citizen Developer communityParticipate in Process Orchestration development activities, to evaluate the best way to scale it in the organizationTo be successful in this role, we expect you to have:Experience in Robotic Process Automation development using UiPathKnowledge of database integration technologiesExperience in Business Process modelling using BPMN 2.0 standardProactive, analytical and solution-oriented mindset, with a can-do attitudeGood problem-solving skills and ability to learn efficientlyGood communication, collaboration and presentation skillsThese skills would be seen as an advantage:Knowledge of CI/CD stack used for packaging, testing and deploymentsExperience in Microsoft stack packages e.g.
.NET / Windows Workflow FoundationAn ideal candidate will have a B.Sc.
or M.Sc.
from a relevant field of study (commercial, technical, statistics etc.)
