Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the piping engineering team, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support. Oversee the development and execution of piping design plans, including layouts, isometrics, stress analysis, and material specifications. Collaborate with project managers and other discipline leaders to define project requirements, deliverables, and schedules. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and industry best practices in piping design and engineering. Review and approve piping engineering deliverables, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to project specifications. Provide technical expertise and support in the resolution of complex piping design and engineering issues. Collaborate with procurement and construction teams to optimize piping design, constructability, and cost-effectiveness. Coordinate and manage multi-site and offshore project teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and resource allocation. Coordinate with other disciplines, such as process, mechanical, and structural, to ensure seamless integration of piping systems. Conduct piping design reviews, identify potential risks or issues, and implement mitigation strategies. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to piping design and engineering. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. Extensive experience (at least 10 years) in piping engineering and design, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry. Note: at least 5 years for Piping Discipline Leader. Strong knowledge of piping codes, standards, and industry best practices (e.g., ASME B31.3, API, ANSI). Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex piping design projects. Proficiency in piping design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, CAESAR II, and 3D modeling software (e.g., SmartPlant 3D). Experience in stress analysis and familiarity with software tools like CAESAR II. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative and efficient piping solutions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Familiarity with project management principles and practices. Experience in coordinating and managing multi-site and offshore project teams. Proficiency in written and spoken English.
