RINA is currently recruiting for a Senior Pipeline Engineer to join its office in Fano, Italy within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.
Mission The Pipeline Principal Engineer is fully responsible for the execution of all activities related to pipeline design, appraisal, and certification. This role serves as the focal point for the management, administration, organization, quality, performance, and scheduling of pipeline projects.
Accountability Contract Management: Take all relevant decisions related to contract times and costs. Represent the company in all communications and negotiations with the customer regarding contract content. Verify and implement all contractual aspects for the customer. Project Oversight: Control programs and costs, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule. Monitor project progress to maintain expected cost and time schedules. Prepare and deliver progress reports to the client. Team and Resource Management: Ensure the project team is staffed with competent personnel in adequate numbers. Manage project organization to ensure technical adequacy. Supervise engineering and purchasing, ensuring coordination with construction activities. Communication and Coordination: Establish efficient lines of communication and coordination systems with the customer. Provide relevant structures with necessary elements for invoicing and service requests. Change Management: Approve changes and verify related implications and costs. Verify and potentially correct the technical and economic progress of the project. Quality and Performance: Ensure the project team adheres to quality standards and performance metrics. Ensure technical adequacy and compliance with project specifications. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that pipeline design complies with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and codes. Innovation and Optimization: Explore new technologies and methodologies to optimize pipeline design and construction processes. Education Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Qualifications Extensive experience in pipeline engineering, including senior roles in project management and technical leadership. Proven track record (5-8 years) of managing large-scale engineering projects. Expertise in pipeline design and installation. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to make informed decisions under pressure. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for interacting with clients and stakeholders. Ability to prepare and deliver clear and concise reports and presentations. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is preferred. Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
