Senior Payroll Specialist

Evotec, a pharmaceutical company in Verona, is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist. Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for the organization, including compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, the Senior Payroll Specialist is able to build efficient relationships with local and global functions.
Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage Italy payroll operations, including ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and compliance with all applicable laws and Sox regulations;Develop and implement policies and procedures for payroll operation;Ensure timely and accurate processing of new hires, terminations, promotions, and other payroll-related changes;Management and collaboration with external payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing;Prepare and analyze payroll reports, including payroll tax reports;Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments as needed to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing;Management of payroll accounting, reconciliation of statutory balance, and payroll payment management (salaries, taxes, funds);Monitor and implement changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance;Provide excellent customer service to employees and respond to payroll-related inquiries and issues;Travel & Expense management;Employees benefits management;Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field;Minimum of 6 years of experience in payroll processing (previous experience in multinational companies is considered a priority);Knowledge of Chemical/Pharmaceutical Collective Agreement and Dirigenti Industrial Collective Agreement will be a plus;In-depth knowledge of payroll laws and regulations is essential;Experience with payroll software and HRIS systems;Ability to work independently and as part of a team;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Fluent in English;Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines;Strong attention to detail and accuracy;Excellent customer service skills.PLEASE APPLY NOW!
