Location: ItalyWe are recruiting for a Senior or Principal Consultant (FLUENT IN ITALIAN) to work closely with the Steer international transaction team and play a role in supporting the development of our global Port & Maritime offer.
The selected candidate will work on a variety of projects in the freight (container, bulk) and passenger (ferry, cruise) maritime sectors providing strategic advisory to Clients in Italy, Europe, Americas and Asia.
Qualifications required Master's degree in Economics, Management or Engineering or equivalent; 3-5 years of experience in the maritime and port sector.
RequirementsWhat we'd like from you: Experience in the Port & Maritime sector; Knowledge of the strategic aspects, market dynamics and key drivers, in particular in the freight sector; Ability to take a Project Manager role and deliver successful projects (time, cost, quality); Good analytical capabilities and Excel spreadsheets knowledge; Ability to create reports in a logical and well-structured way; Good communication skills, including the ability to explain clearly and with confidence analyses' findings to non-technical audiences; Excellent interpersonal skills, time-management and ability to work as part of a team; Entrepreneurial spirit to support work winning; Availability to attend Client's meetings in Italy and abroad as required by projects; Fluency in both Italian and English is a must (writing and speaking).
Additional language capabilities would be an advantage.
