Our Engineering Transformation team work to improve the quality of our Engineering processes.Partner with the bestAs a Senior Mechanical/Piping Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for:Overseeing compliance with project specifications, codes, standards, and regulations as per the contractual obligation of the project.Conducting inspections to ensure proper installation, alignment, and functionality of mechanical/piping equipment and systems as per the approved Inspection Test Plan.Maintaining detailed records of inspections as per Inspection Test Reports and Non-Conformities.
Generate reports highlighting findings, deviations, punch lists and corrective actions taken or required.Participating in quality audits and reviews, ensuring that mechanical systems meet established quality standards and requirements depends on the project progress or as per PQP (Project Quality Plan).Collaborating with project managers, project planners, engineers, supervisors for constructions, contractors, and subcontractors to address quality-related issues, provide guidance, and ensure alignment with project plans.Identifying potential risks or deficiencies in mechanical systems, propose risk mitigation strategies, and contribute to risk assessment processes.Providing guidance and training to contractors and subcontractors on quality control standards and procedures.
Enforce compliance with established quality control processes.Investigating and address non-conformities, discrepancies, or deficiencies promptly.
Propose and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues.Ensuring that all mechanical works adhere to safety regulations and protocols.
Verify that installations meet safety standards and guidelines.Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and suggestions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of quality control processes.Conducting final inspections of mechanical systems before shipment to verify completion and compliance with project specifications.Following and maintaining BH standards of Quality in accordance with Quality System requirements.Maintaining standards of safety and comply with BH Health, Safety and Environment Management System requirements.Taking reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have good experience of inspection experience for a senior inspector.Have good knowledge of quality industrial standards and General knowledge of construction of modules.Have welding certification and/or other specific credentials [ II level of Non-Destructive Test, Penetrant liquids Method (PT) / Visual Method (VT)/ Radiographic Test (RT)].Have supervisory experience directing craft and technical field crews.Have knowledge and compliance of workplace health and safety standards.Have knowledge of QMS (Quality Management System) and ISO standards.Have good English communication skills both oral and written.Have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
