Job Description ING Italy is looking for a Senior Market Risk Analyst who has at least 5 years of experience in the area of Asset and Liability Management (ALM), Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) or generic Market Risk. A quantitative background and/or experience in modelling-related functions are a plus.The Market Risk team is in charge of all ALM activities for ING Italy. The risk categories are interest rate risk, funding and liquidity risk, treasury risk and customer behaviour (modeling) risk. The Market Risk team is part of the risk domain headed by the ING Italy CRO and is part of ING's Groupwide Financial Risk organization. What you'll do: The team activities are quite varied – here are some of the main ones: Ownership of local asset and liability models, including calibration, backtesting and monitoring.Contribution to the development of Group asset and liability models.Owner of local IRRBB models.Monitoring of all the allocated limits, including Treasury, IRRBB and liquidity limits.Liquidity risk reporting & analysis including Liquidity Crisis Management in conjunction with HO and Liquidity stress testing.Risk management of Securitization.Local activities related to Market Risk Capital.ALM risk identification and assessment.Monthly risk transfer of the open positions to Bank TreasuryWho we are looking for: You have an academic degree (MSc or PhD), preferably in economics, econometrics, physics, statistics, or mathematics.You have good knowledge of ALM and IRRBB models and experience in working with such models.You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the area of Asset and Liability Management (ALM), Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) or generic Market Risk.Experience in modelling-related functions are a plus.Experience with coding is a plus (e.g. Python). You understand the complexities of banking activities and have a good understanding of recent regulatory changes and requirements.You are curious, open to new developments and you know how to master new material quickly. Moreover, you can respond well to your stakeholder's needs as an expert advisor and can translate complex topics in a manner appropriate for their background and objectives.You are a team player who will add value within a dynamic environment.
