We regularly advise boards of directors, members of the C-suite, general counsel, outside counsel, IT leaders, and other stakeholders at all stages of any cyber incident.Role Overview:As a Senior Managing Director, you will be a key member of the cybersecurity risk advisory services team responsible for developing and implementing go-to-market strategies around revenue growth. The Senior Managing Director will have a focus on creation of business development opportunities and generating revenue for the Practice. The role will be intimately familiar with the practice's customer support objectives and responsible for designing, managing, and performing cyber risk activities while conveying your results to internal and external customers.This role is remote, located in the United States.Responsibilities:Driving practice-level revenue through new client relationships across industries, with particular focus in cyber risk advisory or data privacy entities. The primary target markets are C-suite executives and leaders within organizationsCollaborate with senior practitioners to develop and implement go-to-market strategies related to driving revenue growthHelp grow the Cyber Risk Advisory consulting practice and support commercial clients across a variety of industriesActively lead, manage, and provide executive level oversight on projectsUtilize professional and personal network to identify new opportunitiesParticipate in externally facing events (conferences, webinars, etc representing Ankura and the Practice to increase market awarenessWork collaboratively with others in the practice and elsewhere in the firm on various initiatives.Provide strategic insights to leadership teams regarding market trends, service offerings, and staffing changes.Supervise junior professionals in the performance of the workParticipate in business development by building relationships with current and future clients and working with business development professionalsIdentify sales opportunities and progress from a lead to sold engagementClient service activities (administration and project execution)Effectively communicate with clients regarding existing projects and upselling of additional servicesDevelopment and presentation of project output to key stakeholders, including Executive and Board Level individualsParticipate in the development of standard operating procedures and other practice initiativesQuality review of deliverables and externally facing contentCollaborate with practice management to provide input into strategic initiativesQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a business or technology related field15+ years of experience in the Information Security or Data Privacy arenaProven revenue generation of $4MM to $5MM per year in consulting and/or professional services with significant client engagement experienceObtained CISSP or CISM or CIPT certification(s)Project management and service delivery to clients experienceAbility to confidently interact with clients (officers and/or attorneys)Frequently communicates with clients and coworkers and must be able to share information effectivelyFlexibility and responsiveness in managing multiple projects in sometimes high-pressure situations simultaneouslyWilling to travel if required and at short notice#LI-NT1*Ankura is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
