Terna is looking for talent in the role of Senior Legal-Regulatory Officer for the Rome office in the Regulatory Compliance and Network Code Area.
As a Senior Legal-Regulatory Officer you will perform the following duties: Analysis and monitoring of regulatory developments in the electricity sector also through the preparation of reports/newsletters Interpretation of sector regulations Evaluating the impact of developments in national and European regulations on the provisions of Terna's Grid Code; Drawing up framework agreements with operators in the electricity sector (capacity market contracts, dispatching contracts, contracts for forward resource procurement, etc.
); Supporting the drafting of rules and regulations for insolvency proceedings; Preparing notes/memos for administrative disputes connected to regulated activities.
Key requirements: Master's degree in Law; 3-6 years of prior experience, preferably in regulated fields or in the energy sector; Good knowledge of English; Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills as well as flexibility, proactiveness and a results-based approach.
