Senior Legal Counsel

Support Evotec's global business development/operations functions on all day-to-day legal commercial matters: this may include drafting, negotiating and approving all kinds of commercial agreements (in particular confidentiality agreements, terms and conditions, master service agreements, amendments, novations, assignments and single service agreements, supply agreements, license, collaborations, and consultancy agreements) as well as representing the company in the corresponding negotiations with customers/third partiesSupport operational teams in Italy on legal matters, as necessaryKey Responsibilities or Core Accountabilities:Review and negotiate agreements related to the research and development activities at Evotec, as assignedPrepare and review contract specimen, standard templates and approve contracts and legal agreements in the internal pre-signature approval processProblem Solving: provide solutions to daily enquiries of internal stakeholdersServe as a point of contact for contract questions within EvotecParticipates and contributes to special projects, as neededSkills or attributes:Bachelor's Degree in Law or Economics and a minimum of 5 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing contracts in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industryFluency in written and spoken EnglishExceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all contractual documentsSelf-starter who is resourceful and able to work effectively both independently as well as with a teamMotivated and enthusiasticAbility to handle complexity of the work under pressure and meet deadlines while remaining highly organized, prioritise and manage multiple tasks, and provide high quality workTeamplayer with a proactive and organised approachOutstanding organizational, written and verbal communication skills both internally with personnel of all levels and externally with clientsStrong networking ability and able to be decisive in decision making when facing ambiguityDemonstrated flexibility in adjusting to a rapidly changing workload providing support to colleagues during times of increased workloadAbility to lead change in processes and responsibilities as a result of process improvement initiatives and manage any conflict that is a result of this change ENG : In the frame of our Diversity policy, Evotec considers, with equal competences, all applications including people with disabilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
