Senior Learning & Development Specialist

This person will be supporting the learning needs of all the businesses and functions in the sub-region Europe South. They will also be expected to work across the EMEA region for some regional or global learning and development projects.

The person collaborates with internal customers to gain knowledge of learning needs and facilitates specific learning and development programs. The person will be a member of the global Talent & ULU team.

This position is open for locations near the UL offices Cabiate and Carugate in Italy.

Our delivery is 90% virtual and 10% face-to-face with a mix of live VILC, ILC, platform-based learning, and the development of stand-alone resources such as e-learning, podcasts, and video casts.

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring delivery of learning in this region is highly impactful and cost-effective, and for the targeted development of future resources.

The appointed person will be expected to liaise with leaders in the Europe South sub-region, including functional leaders.


Further responsibilities will include leading TULU projects on a sub-regional level and collaborating in regional and global TULU projects.

We are a global team, and the appointee will be expected to work in a culturally sensitive way, driving high collaboration and supporting other regions in their delivery outside of European time zones.
