Our esteemd Client is a large leading international company that designs and manufactures customized roduct solutions for the commercial & residential appliances, heating, refrigeration and general white goods.
This is a super opportunity for a vibrant Key Account Manager to join the Company's EMEA business and work with a respected Commercial OEM customer and distributor base.
Responsibilities This Key Account Manager role shall sit within the overall team supporting the region's sales, revenue development and customer account management. MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSABILITIES: • Managing the Company's relationships with existing Commercial OEM customers and Commercial distributors in the EMEA region, and developing relations with new ones.
• Maintaining and growing the Commercial OEM and Commercial distributor business, in terms of revenue and the relative allocation of customers' volume requirements to the Comapny, whilst also improving profitability.
• Ensuring professional, informed and timely responses to customer requests, therefore supporting also the Company's internal activities as appropriate, in particular in relation to new platforms, programs, quotations, estimates, price negotiations, and engineering changes.
• Promoting the Company's product portfolio and new product introductions, and alertness to market and competitor intelligence and movements.
• Working within a cross-functional team to support the EMEA region's growth.
• Assuring the right connections and dialogue between Customer Services and Operations, for the customer portfolio assigned.
Your Profile REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCES AND OTHER DETAILS: • 8-10+ years' experience in sales/account management, within the Appliances and/or Refrigeration market.
• An aptitude for understanding systems' functionality along with a thorough understanding of products from the standpoint of their design, development, testing and manufacturing processes.
• A Bachelor of Science degree (or similar) – preferably in engineering – with a strong technical aptitude.
• Good communication and organisational skills, with strong teamwork capabilities and commitment to teamwork; but as well a strong sense of urgency and ownership of responsibility.
• An ability to respond constructively to customer requests and issues.
• Solution oriented, and customer focused.
• Driven by and a desire to achieve strong results, and motivated to engage with and visit or attend to customers on a frequent basis.
• Business development capability and awareness.
• Ready to travel often across the EMEA region.
• Excellent English.
• Computer literate.
