As a Software Engineer - Payments Monetisation, you will be building the future of embedded finance.
The payments industry is rapidly evolving as small businesses are no longer consuming payments stand-alone but rather via platforms that are embedding payment servicing as part of their product.
With the strong growth of these platforms, the economy is also rapidly changing, whether it's a SaaS company simplifying electrical driving across Europe or a B2B wholesaler that starts to sell their used industrial equipment via a marketplace.
As the product manager, you get to be part of and shape that exciting transition by building the right payments and embedded finance solutions for these platforms.
The payments monetization team is a new team to be formed around the complex space of "monetizing payments" for the platforms and Mollie.
With the tools that you will be building, we enable platforms to fundamentally change their business model for the better.
Additionally, you will rethink the way platforms can control fund flows and create new solutions to accelerate platforms' growth.
Finally, you will be in charge of all pricing and revenue sharing with platforms.

Our architecture Mollie's frontend landscape consists of multiple apps, each optimized for its specific purpose, such as our merchant dashboard, API documentation, and mobile apps.
Our apps are generally written in TypeScript using React.
Our backend systems are primarily written in Java and PHP and are hosted on Google Cloud.
Many adjacent services are built in Java (Spring Boot) and also run on Google Cloud.
We prioritize performance, stability, and resilience, continuously enhancing our applications to handle the next phase of growth.
What you'll bring A minimum of 6 years experience in developing large-scale web applications.
Strong knowledge of Java (Spring Boot).
You know all about service-oriented architecture patterns and how to apply them while building scalable systems.
I can think from both engineering and product perspectives and effectively explain proposed improvements in a pragmatic manner.
Excellent communication skills and experience working effectively with different stakeholders.
Nice to haves Previously worked with PHP, TypeScript, React(.Native), Google Cloud Platform.
Previously worked within the Payments, FinTech or large-scale B2B SaaS space.
Track record of leading complex cross-functional or cross-team initiatives to their success.
Experience mentoring other engineers.
You like helping others grow and succeed.
