Our fast-growing team in Italy is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist with expertise in Italian payroll.
In this role, you'll handle the operational processing of payrolls, ensuring accuracy for SSAE 16 audits and compliance with statutory requirements, while collaborating with CloudPay's global payroll operations team.

Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include: Processing multiple payrolls on behalf of clients accurately, on time, and efficientlyAnalyse payroll-related information to ensure accurate distribution of funds and payrollPartner with the Implementation Consultants to ensure successful knowledge transfers are completed between Project Delivery to OperationsSupport the Software Release process by validating that new features have been accurately developedSupport any parallel runs if testing is needed on a new requirementAbility to reconcile pre-processing reports to ensure the accuracy of information before processing payrollResearch discrepancies in payroll information and/or documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures before processingDeliver payroll accurately and provide timely payment of employee salaries on time in line with client service level agreements and expectationsMaintains payroll information, files, and records to provide up-to-date reference and audit trail for complianceValidate payroll requirements to ensure that sufficient information is provided by the client to enable set-up and configuration to be completed successfullyProvide payroll training and guidance to team membersAttributes and Experience Required: Deep knowledge and experience in a consulting company or in the HR Payroll and Administrative department of a multinational companyKnowledge of Italian legal requirements, statutory forms reporting, etcExperience in any related payroll software and suite MS OfficeExperience of Zucchetti is beneficialStrong organizational and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlinesAbility to work well independently as well as part of a teamForward-thinking, able to plan and organize own workloadTeam player with the ability to share information and interact positively with othersStrong communication and collaboration skillsStrong Italian and English language skills requiredPackage and Benefits: Competitive annual salary26 days annual leave, plus bank holidaysEarned Wage Access (via CloudPay Now app)Birthday leaveFlexible Hybrid WorkingPersonal and professional development opportunitiesFriendly working environmentCloudPay is committed to being an equal opportunities employer.
