Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior IT Analyst specialising in GIS (Geographical Information Systems) and experienced in SNN (Street Naming and Numbering) , as well as the LLPG (Local Land and Property Gazetteer) and LSG (Local Street Gazetteer) on a 2 Year Fixed Term Contract.
Currently, we use the ArcGIS platform and FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) for GIS and eVo GMS for Street Naming and Numbering and Gazetteer Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities: Support the Council's day-to-day GIS operations, along with GIS improvements and development initiatives, promoting GIS maturity across the organisation. Support the Authority Address and Street Custodian in managing and maintaining the Councils LLPG and LSG to a high standard and assist with the statutory provision of Street Naming & Numbering. Engage in future projects supporting other business areas, contributing to broader IT initiatives and cross-departmental solutions. There will also be an opportunity to support Business Systems such as: M3, Idox Cloud, Taranto (Parking PCN/Permits), 3sixty Environmental, ECINS, Exacom, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM with integrations into back-office systems like MAYRISE/ALLOY and M3/Idox Cloud. Business Analysis, GIS and data improvement skills along with providing technical support and managing small/medium sized projects are essential. About Our Ideal Candidate: We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with relevant skills, experience, and energy to support our existing systems and users across departments, whilst also being involved in exciting change projects as part of the council's IT transformation programme.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and customer-focused professional with experience of working in an IT systems support role within a large, complex business service. You will be experienced in analysing, developing and implementing solutions to challenging technical problems, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, participating in projects, and comfortable with communicating at both technical and business levels.
