What you will be doing: Minimize regulatory, legal, and financial risks related to site payments through collaboration with external providers, investigative sites, and other internal departments such as Legal, Finance, Compliance, and QA. Develop and maintain site payment optimization process with company stakeholders. Develop and deliver site payment optimization budget training internally and to external providers. Function as subject matter expert for site payments globally. Identify, draft and deliver new processes and policies related to subject matter expertise as needed (including but not limited to site payment optimization process). Serve as the liaison between Development Operations, investigative sites and external providers to address site payment related issues for all studies. Maintain consistent communications with internal and external clients, including in-person discussions, telephone calls, and e-mail. Conduct or assist with financial payment audits related to studies as required. Develop and maintain site payment hold, closed study invoicing, and external provider accountability procedures and training related thereto. Engage and deliver special projects as needed. You are: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, science or related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of five years negotiating Site contracts and budgets and/or facilitating/managing site payments. Ability to negotiate and manage complex payment disputes. Flexibility to assume a workload which frequently necessitates an adjustment of priorities. Goal oriented, self-starter with proven ability to work independently. Able to proactively identify issues and provide potential solutions for resolution. Detail oriented. Works well in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deliverables in accordance with stated timelines. What ICON can offer you: Our success depends on the quality of our people.
