We are looking for an engineer to fill the position of Senior Instrumentation and Automation (I&A) Engineer.
Location: Rome, Italy.
Responsibilities:Preparation of project technical specifications in line with Project/Client requirements.Meet Project quality and HSE objectives.Ensure an appropriate reporting on engineering/requisitioning activities to the Instrumentation Engineering/Requisitioning Leader.Interface with other discipline engineers and Project support functions such as Procurement, Construction, and Planning.Supervise and coordinate the activity of a small group of drafters, junior/intermediate designers, and/or junior/intermediate engineers.Review of 3D design for Instrumentation (Cable Trays routings in the plant and inside buildings, JB and Instrumentation Positioning, etc.).Preparation, update and/or check of calculations for instrumentation detailed engineering.Preparation and/or Check of instrumentation design documents such as Instrument lists, instrument datasheets, Cable Routings, Layouts, Cross Sections, Cable lists, Hook-up drawings, and mounting details.Review and monitoring of quantities coming from Instrument Bulk MTO's.Review Vendor Bids and prepare Technical Bids Evaluation. Ensures contractual technical specifications are met by the suppliers.Ensure proper communication with Vendors and technical follow-up of the orders.Review Vendor Drawings.Requirements:Previous experience of at least 5-6 years in detailed engineering and design of Instrumentation systems for Refinery / Gas / Power / Renewables / Infrastructure projects in a similar position.Languages: English fluent.Our company promotes equal opportunities and we value diversity in our team.
