STAM is seeking a Senior Innovation Consultant to join its Research & Innovation Services team in Genoa, Rome, Cagliari, Bari or Padova . ACTIVITIES: This role combines project management with strategic consulting to drive the successful execution of international R&D initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in developing and managing Horizon Europe projects across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, advanced materials, aerospace, biotech, energy, circular (bio)economy, ICT, and more. Key Responsibilities: Strategic roadmapping and innovation consulting Identify and develop new opportunities within the value chain to generate innovative projects. Creation of strategic roadmaps, including financial and economic needs analysis, business modeliing and Action Plans Conceptualize and visualize innovative ideas tailored to partner and funding requirements. Write and refine high-quality proposals for European funding programs, in particular Horizon Europe. Stay updated on EU research funding trends and coach junior consultants. Project Management Plan and manage all aspects of innovation projects: activities, timelines, contracts, budgets, and deliverables. Oversee the development and implementation of Action Plans, ensuring technical, operational, and financial objectives are met. Identify potential risks and resolve critical issues to deliver high-quality results on time. Collaborate with international teams, working closely with project partners, coordinators, and stakeholders. Draft comprehensive reports, project deliverables, and administrative documents. Networking & Representation Represent STAM in meetings, events, and brokerage initiatives, promoting the company and clients with their projects. Foster and expand partnerships with academic, industrial, and institutional stakeholders. REQUIREMENTS: Master's or Ph.D. in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field; Proven experience in research and technological innovation; Strong track record with European R&D funding programs (e.g., Horizon 2020/Europe). Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office. Exceptional English and Italian communication skills, both written and spoken. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an aptitude for technical and financial planning. Ability to engage and lead in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment.
