Our mission is generating safe, innovative, and potent next-generation neoantigen genetic vaccines that selectively eliminate tumour cells.We are looking for a Senior Immunology Scientist to perform the preclinical and clinical evaluation of immunogenicity of viral vector based immunotherapies to support clinical development.ResponsibilitiesPerforming in vivo studies to assess number, quality and kinetics of antigen-specific T cells induced after vaccination.Develop and execute immunological assays for mouse and human studiesPreclinical evaluation of vaccine efficacy and novel immunotherapy combinations in murine cancer modelsPresenting research projects to the Istitutional OPBA for animal experimentationJob requirementsRelevant degree in biotechnology, biology, biomedical science, life or applied science.Laboratory work experienceKnowledge of immunological, molecular biology and cellular biology techniquesProven technical expertise in multi-parameter FACS analysisGood working knowledge of Prism/FlowJo and a solid experience with FACS analysis.Experience with mouse handling and in vivo research and techniquesExperience with Microsoft Excel, Flow cytometry data analysis software, and Graphpad PrismAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to adapt to rapidly evolving situations and needsAbility to work under pressureSpoken and written EnglishAbility to report and present resultsA positive "can-do" and result oriented attitude, with openness to new ideas and ability to work flexibly in a highly dynamics environmentKnowledge and experience in GLP standards (preferred)The role is based in Rome.As part of a small high growth business you will get the opportunity to be involved in many different areas and our rapid growth trajectory means you will have the opportunity to grow with us.Nouscom is an equal opportunity employer.
