The role of Senior HR Specialist is integral as the first point of contact for our employees providing essential support in various HR functions including employment relations, immigration, relocation, and more.
You will play a key role in onboarding new team members, managing employee relations, and ensuring the overall wellbeing and engagement of our employees.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for employees addressing HR-related queries.Manage employment relations for Malta-based employees including employment and document management, immigration, relocation support, insurance, and occupational health.Participate in recruitment projects if required.Conduct onboarding for new employees and provide support during their initial weeks.Handle employee relations, tax issues, and conflict counseling.Coordinate HR activities in the Malta office, including performance management, engagement, and wellbeing (including presents, meals, events, etc.).Represent the company in state institutions when necessary.Adapt company policies and procedures for the Malta office.Oversee the Malta office management function.Requirements: Holds the equivalent of 3 years of experience in a similar role.At least a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.Experience and knowledge of Malta labor laws and regulations.Proven experience in a client-facing HR role in a fast-paced organization.Approachable and understanding with strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written).Proactive and organized with excellent attention to detail.Experience managing stakeholders and building strong working relationships effectively.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to rapidly adapt to change.Proactive and able to work on own initiative and manage own workload effectively while working closely with the team.Experience working with an HRIS.Capable of identifying priorities and working proactively with strong skills in planning, organization, scheduling, problem-solving, and resolving conflicting priorities.This is why you will love to work with us: Opportunity to work together with global aviation experts.International, friendly, modern, and comfortable work environment.Fully paid lunch and healthy snacks are available in the office.Advanced health insurance after the probation period.Paid day off on your birthday.For professional and personal development opportunities, join our Talent Academy, Leaders Club, or other development incentives.Corporate and social events.Note: Background checks will be conducted on all applicants and restrictions that can suspend the process of employment in accordance with the Law on Aviation Article 57.
