Job Summary
The candidate will be integrated into the hardware design line and will be responsible for all aspects of the design process, from concept to release for series production, including design of the electrical schematic of digital and analogue cards, PCB design, prototype test and documentation writing.
Responsibilities and Duties Analyzing technical data or preliminary specifications that are necessary to define the Hardware architecture. Support to the business development department. Consulting with System Engineers regarding system constraints. Interaction with other project team members, including optical, algorithm, software and mechanical engineers to define the HW architecture. Follow the directives of the HW process in terms of standards and design flow. Generate the specific HW requirements as flow down from system requirements and system architecture. Design the hardware architectures to meet comprehensive requirements of component selection following the internal standards and project constraints. Generate schematic entry using Civitanavi CAD tool following internal standards. Generate multilayer high-density printed circuit board designs using CAD for PCB layout tools, following the IPC standard in accordance with company-established procedures. For each design phase, responsible for conducting reviews and ensuring the quality of the output generated. When required, monitor and assist the manufacturer in the assembly of prototypes, directly or through the interface of the Product Engineering Department. Generate prototype test and validation procedures to verify complete requirements matching on the prototypes before release for series production. Test the manufactured prototypes and analyze the test results. Prepare technical verification reports. Create documentation required to activate the Engineering Change Requests in adherence to Configuration Management and Change Control procedures. Qualifications and Skills Required skills Degree in Electronics Engineering. At least 5 years of experience as a Hardware Engineer in digital and analogue electronics. Minimum 2 years' experience with Altium Designer. Electronics Design & Engineering experience in digital and analogue design. Hardware Design with digital components (such as microcontroller, FPGA, ADC, DAC, etc.). Development/simulation tools such as Orcad/Spice (or similar). Knowledge of instrumentation for laboratory testing. Knowledge of manufacturing process. Knowledge of assembly process. Knowledge of principles of EMI/EMC. Ability to work as part of a team whose members are responsible for different portions of the design. Organized and systematic to maintain documentation in appropriate order. Knowledge of English Language. Knowledge of MIL-STD-461 standard. Knowledge of RTCA-DO-160 standard. Knowledge of inertial sensors. Knowledge of design methodologies for aerospace applications (design documentation, design analysis, etc.). #J-18808-Ljbffr
