Your new roleWe are seeking an experienced, highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team, reporting directly to the Cluster Finance Controller.
This position will be responsible for a broad range of financial activities, with a primary focus on preparing accounting adjustment entries for US GAAP and statutory purposes, managing fixed asset accounting, and ensuring compliance with both US GAAP and local civil/fiscal regulations.
The Senior Financial Analyst will also play a key role in Balance Sheet reconciliation, preparing statutory financial statements, supporting SOX key control certifications, and preparing tax declarations, including VAT, WHT, Intrastat, Esterometro, LIPE, 770, Certificazioni Uniche, and annual Tax declaration.
This role will also involve supporting audit processes and ensuring timely and accurate completion of all financial and tax reporting requirements.
What you'll be doingPreparation of Accounting Adjustment Entries (US GAAP & Statutory): Prepare and review accounting entries to ensure compliance with US GAAP and statutory financial reporting standards - Ensure proper documentation and support for adjustments to meet regulatory and audit requirements.Financial Statement Preparation (Statutory) & Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Prepare statutory financial statements in compliance with local accounting standards - Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data for both US GAAP and statutory financial reporting standards - Management of statutory books.Tax Declarations & Compliance: Prepare and file tax declarations, including VAT, WHT, Intrastat, Esterometro, LIPE, 770, Certificazioni Uniche, and annual tax declaration, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations - Collaborate with tax advisors to stay up-to-date on changes to tax laws and regulations - Maintain records and documentation for tax filing and reporting.Fixed Assets Management: Provide all the information to allow the correct fixed asset accounting: capitalization, depreciation, and disposals for US GAAP, Statutory and Tax.Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor queries; Collaborate with auditors to ensure smooth audits and resolve any discrepancies in financial reports.SOX Key Controls Certification & Compliance: Assist in the preparation for SOX audits and internal control assessments.CPRR Inventory & Spare parts Inventory: CPRR monthly reconciliation and annual physical count reconciliation; Support Service department on Spare part Inventory productivity improvement.What you'll need to succeed8/10 years of accounting experience, with a strong background in financial reporting, tax compliance, and accounting adjustments.Motivated & Self-Driven (ability to take ownership of responsibilities, work independently, and stay focused on achieving deadlines).Strong Communication Skills.Problem Solving (ability to analyze financial data, identify issues, and propose practical solutions).Teamwork (demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, supporting various stakeholders including finance and leadership).Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Flexibility to adapt to changing processes, regulations, and business needs.Advanced Excel skills, Experience with SAP.Professional English and Italian are essential, Spanish is preferred.Preferred: OSS System and SharePoint knowledge.
