Job Description Summary The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for meeting the daily service repair needs of the customer's equipment and driving customer satisfaction through Service Excellence.
Location: Campania Job Description Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions Include: Total system-level troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and service repair needs on designated equipment.
Interface with doctors and technicians on equipment status issues, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication.
Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
Maintain tools and test equipment properly and ensure they are calibrated.
Identify sales opportunities and communicate them to the account team in the geographic area.
Work as a member of the local team to provide efficient and cost-effective service to the assigned area.
Complete all administrative tasks on time.
Ensure timely completion of assigned FMIs and PMs.
Assist less experienced Junior Field Services Engineers with advanced troubleshooting and technical fixes.
Cooperate with internal stakeholders and interlocutors.
Maintain effective quality systems and programs compliant with ISO 9001 standards, according to the GE Service Quality Policy Statement.
Quality Specific Goals: Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
Complete all planned Quality Compliance training within defined deadlines.
Identify and report immediately any customer quality or compliance concerns to the Quality Organization.
Required Qualifications: Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, IT Engineering, or similar field, or a high specialization technical diploma with relevant field experience.
Proven experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
Comprehensive knowledge of a specific modality or multi-modalities, with extensive knowledge and experience of X-Ray and/or MR machineries in particular.
Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical issues clearly.
Expert in customer interaction, driving positive relationships, and ensuring satisfaction.
Based in Campania or able to relocate.
Fluent in Italian and English.
