We have over 20,000 multidisciplinary professionals worldwide collaborating daily to protect and conserve natural landscapes, create firm foundations for communities to stand on, and champion sustainable development to combat climate change.As part of the team, you will have access to an unparalleled network of resources and opportunities to collaborate on exciting projects with diverse teammates from across the globe.The successful candidate will work as part of our growing multi-discipline team in the field of ESG and climate change, on a wide range of interesting technical and strategic projects, such as ESG assessment studies, decarbonization strategies and plans, GHG inventories and carbon footprint, Life Cycle Assessment and environmental labels, climate change alternative analysis, climate change risk assessment (physical and transitional), ESG due diligences of industrial and real estate sites, and sustainable finance.The hire is part of a growth plan looking to appoint a number of experienced consultants operating at different levels to help us develop client relationships and new business, and to manage and deliver ESG & Climate Change related services for public and private clients, International Financial Institutions and related players in the project financing cycles.Key tasks and responsibilities include:Support the design and/or implementation of corporate ESG (environmental, social and governance) and Low Carbon Economy Transition strategies and targets (e.g.: carbon neutrality, net zero, SBTi)Calculate and communicate the ESG performance through sustainability metrics, non-financial reportingImpact assessment for environmental footprint quantification of products/organizations, including LCA studies, carbon footprint, corporate value chain accounting and reportingTechnical assistance for ESG-related management systems development and audits, covering organizational boundaries and supply chainSupport client and project management in the service areas of ESG and climate change consultingContribute to the establishment of trusted relationships with clients and business partnersProvide technical input in the development of effective and innovative reports and proposalsSkills, Qualifications, and Experience:Degree in Environmental/Chemical/Mechanical/Energy/Management Engineering or other relevant study career with sustainability focusKnowledge of European and international regulatory framework in the field of sustainability, EU taxonomy and sustainable finance cycle.A minimum of 5-year experience in the following fields:Climate change mitigation (e.g.: GHG emission inventories, environmental footprint and labels, SBTi)Climate change adaptation (e.g.: physical vulnerability and risk assessment, transition risks and opportunities)ESG/Sustainability strategies, targets, reporting, rating and disclosures (e.g.: TCFD, Ecovadis, CDP).Project sustainability assessment (e.g.: vs. DNSH, Paris Agreement, EU Taxonomy).Requirements: Your benefits at WSP will include:Competitive benefits and remuneration packagesDeepen your expertise in a dynamic work environmentInnovative and collaborative multidisciplinary projectsOn the job training, mentoring and coachingGlobal projects and travel opportunitiesApply now and be the future of WSP!
