Job Description We're seeking a dynamic and innovative Senior Remediation Engineer with specific experiences in Project Management, design, installation, operation and maintenance of remediation systems for contaminated soil & groundwater.
The appointed person will be expected to have a key role in the team, with the below responsibilities:
Managing and developing remediation proposals and projects covering all environmental aspects, associated regulation and staffing requirements Conducting remedial alternatives analysis Overseeing project budget and costs-benefit analyses Coordinating and appointing subcontractors Ensuring all parties meet compliance with environmental regulations Training staff on how to use and implement remediation systems Building sustainable relationships in order to meet our business development goals Contributing to the continuous improvement of our services and team by evaluating project successes and challenges and sharing lessons learned to enhance performance within the business Applying and encouraging a high level of health and safety awareness and quality management at all times Ensuring effective communication with the project team and clients We are particularly looking for candidates with the following: 5+ years of related experience, with a multinational company is preferred Fluency in Italian and English Technically skilled to perform process-oriented and sampling tasks Demonstrable ability to keep up to date with latest legislation and compliance requirements Flexible approach and ability to change direction when required Motivated individual with the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with the initiative to complete tasks Excellent planning, organizational skills and be a time manager Reasonable flexibility and willingness to travel nationally to conduct site visits Open and honest A background in Industry is advantageous, as experience in the Consulting sector Licensed to drive a vehicle in ITA (essential) What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits (hybrid working, voucher meals, welfare program, wellbeing benefit, health insurance, laptop, smartphone) Central Milan office location Flexible work options for work-life balance Public transport allowance A culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion Opportunities for career growth and development Embrace your uniqueness and join the AECOM team!
