Life Science is a Team specialized in profiles with a Scientific and Engineering background in Manufacturing, Production, Engineering, SCM, Research and Development, Medical, Quality and Technical-Commercial in Pharmaceutical, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biotech, Chemical, Cosmetic, Medical, Diagnostic, Plastic Rubber, Food sectors.The CompanyMultinational pharmaceutical company is searching for a Senior Engineering and Automation Manager.The candidate:- Will oversee the engineering and automation strategies for our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.- Lead engineering teams to support production and operational goals.- Maintain the real estate in state-of-the-art conditions by selecting and managing external contractors.- Drive large-scale revamping and installation projects, from URS development to commissioning.- Manage capital expenditures for new technologies and process improvements.- Oversee automation solutions, including qualification of equipment, process validation, and serialization systems (Track & Trace).- Implement and maintain advanced automation systems (e.g., PLC, SCADA) to enhance production efficiency and compliance.- Ensure adherence to GMP, FDA, and EMEA regulations, overseeing validation and qualification processes for equipment and systems.- Collaborate with Quality teams to address CAPAs and implement improvements.Requirements- Demonstrated expertise in managing sterile production facilities for finished pharmaceutical forms is highly beneficial.- Degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical, electrical, or management engineering).- 15+ years of experience in engineering and maintenance within pharmaceutical, chemical, or nutraceutical industries.- Expertise in equipment qualification, process validation, and serialization systems.- Proven ability to lead complex projects, including installation and revamping of production equipment.- Knowledge of industry-specific standards (GMP, FDA, EMEA, GAMP).- Strong communication and team leadership skills.- Certification in lean or six sigma methodologies (e.g., green belt) and experience with ERP and MS Project will be considered a plus.Location: Milano EstPlease send your CV and motivation letter to the role to: ******: Senior Engineering and Automation Manager – Milano- EstIf not in possession of all the requirements indicate as reference: SELF-CANDIDATION.Applications deemed online will be contacted within 30 days of receipt of the application.
