Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Italy is currently seeking applicants for Senior Engineer E-Mobility Applications. In this position, you will be responsible as a Hardware and Software expert to design and test new customer designs such as on-board chargers, traction inverters, DCDC converters, and auxiliary high voltage circuits. Together with other experts, you will manage customer projects in the laboratory, with system tests or submodule tests being your main focuses. You will provide different VISHAY divisions, both active and passive components, with the necessary specifications for product R&D.

Vishay Semiconductor Italiana spa is focused on the design, development, and production of power diodes and power modules. There are around 300 employees currently working in Borgaro Torinese, Italy. This number is constantly growing due to our expansion plans.
What you will be doing:
Manage hardware and software as a user to design and test new customer designs such as on-board chargers, traction inverters, DCDC converters, and auxiliary high voltage circuits.Evaluate and measure the performance of devices and define all details regarding the power electronic components.Manage the product development project, coordinating the roll-out of project plans and managing the achievement of those plans.Manage customer projects in the laboratory, with system tests or submodule tests being the main focuses.Understand and identify the requirements of key components for different circuits and applications.Manage and organize the testing of the latest applications in the laboratory, with software experience in automotive simulation tools.Willingness to travel.What you will bring along:
Bachelor's, Master's degree, or PhD in Electronics or Physics in electrical engineering or similar.5+ years of relevant experience with Automotive HV projects or power converters.Excellent knowledge of WBG semiconductors and a good understanding of Power Inverters and Converters for Electric Vehicles.Good knowledge of passive components (capacitors and magnetic components) and high-voltage circuits, with voltages of up to 1kV.Good attitude in dealing with issues and requests from top managers.Good motivation to master new major challenges.Good coaching and mentoring skills.What can we offer you for your talent:
