With the aim of strengthening the Engineering Department, we have been tasked with selecting the following professional figure: Senior Electronic System Engineer The resource will be responsible for the technical supervision of the systems; he/she must master the design, integration and interface issues of technically and industrially complex Combat Systems (CS) and have proven knowledge of electronic warfare systems. The candidate will have demonstrated knowledge in the field of complex subsystems integrated into the Combat System of first-tier ships (Architectures, functional and physical interfaces (CMS, CSPI, Navigation, ) and performance of integrated systems on board). As an EWS Installation Manager, the resource will be responsible for technical exchanges with the main suppliers of the system for which you will be responsible (monitoring the technical obligations of the specifications (including review of the produced documents (SSS, SSDD), interface documents (IRS, ICD), cross-cutting issues (EMC/EMI, security, cyber), physical integration (IGD), testing) as well as cross-cutting safety issues arising from this equipment (RadHaz). The EWS Systems Engineer we are looking for is an experienced engineer familiar with particularly complex combat system design issues, with proven knowledge in the field of CS subsystems (architecture, CSPI, integrated system performance). The EWS Systems Engineer will be responsible for the specifications, the statement of work and monitoring the correct execution by the interested industrial partner of the development, qualification, functional and physical integration and safety studies for the systems for which he/she will be responsible (at least EWS). In particular, within his area of responsibility, he/she will be involved in: The correct technical execution of the contract with the system supplier and its correct functional and technical integration. To this end, he will take part in regular progress meetings, technical briefings and internal industry reviews. The preparation and guidance of technical reviews with customers, during which the supplier's design must be accepted. The analyses and assessment of the necessary changes. In close cooperation with the other engineering specialists working on the project, the EW System Engineer will have to carry out systems engineering and requirements management activities (including those not specified by the customer, "industrial requirements" in a broad sense) and validate the work carried out by the manufacturers producing the EWS systems. Configuration control, execution and arbitration of technical reviews and key hold points with the various stakeholders (internal and external), at key stages, is essential and will be one of the responsibilities of the EWS Specialist. Technical mastery, including safety aspects of the systems integrated into the armed vessel, and attention to the quality of the data produced, in particular contractual deliverables, study deadlines and constructive relationships with the manufacturers responsible for the development of the systems are essential elements and will be the key indicators of the position. In general, the EWS System Manager will ensure that the components comply with the requirements. Requirements Master's degree in engineering with at least 10 years of experience as a System Engineer or Architect of complex systems. Experience in the field of electronic warfare would be a plus. Successful experience in the technical management of subcontracts in a complex multinational context (SoW, Specs, Acceptance). Contract management will mainly be carried out by business managers with whom the EWS Specialist will be in close interaction. Exemplary and professional attitude towards demanding customers and subcontractors. Proven listening and leadership skills to ensure the technical control of collaborators in the successful development of the integrated on-board system. Ability to monitor, as a prime contractor, developments and tests at suppliers, integration platforms and shipyards. Professional English (spoken, written and read), French would be a plus.
