Adecco Italia S.p.a. is looking for a Senior Electronic Designer for direct placement at an innovative company in the bio-robotics sector based in Florence.The resource, inserted within the R&D team, will report to the Lead Electronic Engineer and will be responsible for the following tasks:• Implement and verify electronic hardware for medical robots and their components.
• must be able to report progress and milestones relative to the overall development project.
• Design and development of complex electronic boards, embedding motor drivers and sensors.
• Additional responsibilities include contributing to multiple areas of electronic development, including but not limited to the following: • Managing the electronic labs • Operating electronic measurement equipment • Developing firmware • Coordinating the procurements of components and external services Skill Requirements: • Master's Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineer; • Professional background in robotics and automation industry designing electrical system for actuation of motors and sensing.• Experience designing complex printed circuit boards (PCB); • Knowledge of power electronics, driver for electric motor control, signal amp and sensors acquisition; • Experience selecting and integrating off-the-shelf components; • Professional use of CAD systems (Altium preferred); • Strong ability to isolate and debug embedded hardware problems; • Comfortable with all phases of the product development lifecycle including design, implementation, debug, verification, qualification, and transfer; • Strong inter-disciplinary understanding of mechanics, manufacturing, control and software; • Good communication and documentation skills, generation of formal design documentation, review, and control; • Excellent written and oral communications skills; • Professional written and spoken English (C1); • Experience in electronic design and development accordingly with medical device ISO regulation is a plus.
