We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to lead the development and optimization of our space-grade electrolyzers and regenerative fuel cells. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in engineering, particularly in the field of electrolyzers, and demonstrate a proven track record of developing and deploying innovative technologies. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:Technical Leadership Lead the design, development, and testing of advanced electrolyzers and regenerative fuel cells for space applications.Ensure the integration of electrolysis and fuel cell technologies with other space systems.Project Management Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and aerospace engineers, to meet project objectives.Research and Development Conduct research to improve the efficiency, reliability, and performance of electrolyzers and RFCs.Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrolyzer and fuel cell technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into product development.Develop the current baseline and re-iterate the product during the process.Collaboration and Communication Work closely with our technology partner to leverage licensed technology and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.Liaise with commercial partners to understand their needs and customize products accordingly.Prepare and present technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.Quality Assurance and Compliance Establish and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure product reliability and safety.Ensure all designs and developments comply with relevant space industry standards and regulations.Qualifications:Master's or Ph.D. in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field) with a focus on electrolyzers or fuel cells.Minimum of 5 years of experience in the development of electrolyzers, fuel cells, or related technologies.Knowledge of solid oxide cell technology, co-electrolysis and methanation technologies is an important asset.Proven experience in managing complex engineering projects from concept to deployment.Strong knowledge of electrochemical processes, materials science, and space-grade engineering requirements.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Effective communication and leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate with partners.Fluency in English.Contratto di lavoro: Tempo pieno
