Aiming to strengthen our Transportation Department for an important project based in Campania, Italy, we are recruiting a SENIOR ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER - RAIL DOMAIN Job location: Napoli Role overview Within the project electrical engineering team, you will be responsible to develop functional schematics and wiring design of assigned scope from the bid-phase up to all project phases.
Technical responsibilities Develop, integrate and document electrical schematics and wiring design using computer-aided engineering tools.
Able to define electrical line sizes and protections with cabling optimization of equipment connections as per assembly time reduction.
Development and validation of concept electrical architecture, based on the requirements and vehicle configuration.
Verification and traceability of requirements eventually using specific tools (e.g.
DOORS).
Support to purchasing department during the procurement phase of materials and components.
Support to industrial engineering and production department during the vehicle assembly phase and follow-up modifications/change management.
Required Skills/Knowledge Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical background.
Proven electrical design experience in electromechanical industries (preferred Railway Domain); at least 5 years of experience.
Excellent readiness of Electrical schematic and drawings.
Knowledge of computer-aided electrical engineering tools (preferred SEE Electrical).
Knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Visio, Access).
Knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes.
Readiness to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, multitasking international environment.
Ability to work autonomously and to organize coordinate activities of others.
Availability for short-term national and international business trips.
Good knowledge of written and spoken English is mandatory (at least B2 level).
