SENIOR ELECTRIC MOTOR ENGINEER - Rotating Electric Machines The Senior Electric Motor Engineer will be the reference person for all rotating machines, many of which are manufactured abroad and will be part of the EMEA Engineering team in a collaborative design approach.
Main Responsibilities Include: Realise drawings and technical documentation. Propose ideas for new developments and product modifications to improve the competitiveness of our products. Define technical solutions on new developments or product modifications along with the Project Team. Manage design changes and new developments from a technical perspective. Understand the product system and the interactions between the components. Understand customer technical needs. Support Manufacturing, Sales and Service/Quality departments on product specific issues. Coordinate with Electric Engineering Global organization concerning motor design. Lead analysis of products from main competitors. Verify conformity to standards, Directives or legal requirements of our products. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; Over 5 years of experience on electric motor design in Engineering or R&D Department. Capacity to calculate and specify electric motor windings. Passion and skills for technical matters and product design. Precision, reliability and organization skills. Good communication and team building skills. Good problem-solving abilities. Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of the basic MS office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Work Location: Province of Vicenza.
