To develop seasonal collections and design product construction.
To work under the direction of the manager or the headquarter and collaborate with other designers within the team to continually deliver a fresh, creative, and brand-appropriate product range.
To research based on collection brief for the season: design, materials, trends, colours, arts, etc.
To build sophisticated shapes and patterns, experimenting with materials, accessories, embroideries, etc.
To create sketches, renderings & technical drawings using Illustrator and Photoshop.
To define colours, textiles, and accessories in collaboration with other departments.
To follow prototypes with the development department.
To produce accurate patterns and technical specifications for product development.
To support the design team by preparing necessary visual tools (i.e., sketches, presentation mood boards, fabric samples & swatches, colour standards, etc.).
To adhere to the design calendar and ensure all deadlines are met.
To work as a team with product development and pattern making.
Fluent in Italian & English (written & spoken) is essential.
Previous experience (at least 2-5 years) within the Fashion/Sportswear industry undertaking a similar role as a Fashion Designer, preferably in RTW Man and Woman, is essential.
Professional experience using Illustrator and Photoshop.
Strong product knowledge and technical background of textile and materials solutions.
Great fashion sense & understanding of the latest market trends with experience working for Italian or International Brands.
Ability to handle multiple priorities quickly and efficiently with tight deadlines.
Positive 'can-do' attitude.
Availability for research trips or meetings at Headquarters.
Coordinate the design team ensuring time is spent efficiently.
Understanding/experience in 3D technology is an asset.
