It offers solutions from financial planning, land evaluation, design, and construction within the industrial, logistics, and data center sector.
To boost the Data Center Business Unit, today we are looking for a Senior Design and Estimating Manager – who will be reporting to the Senior Design Director and will be responsible for the competitiveness of the offers submitted.
The Senior Design and Estimating Manager is accountable for the proper application of best practices in design and estimating and for the correct use of design and estimating tools across his/her scope of responsibility.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:
Writing and optimization of sales offers Detailed technical design and estimating in line with the client's needs Technical support in negotiation Prospection phase:
Occasionally helps the Business Development team to qualify leads and decide whether to proceed or not with the design and estimating Produces or contributes to the grading of the Go / No Go sheet May be asked to support the Business Development team in the presentation of the sales offer Design and Estimating phase:
Ensures compliance with the Go / No Go process Is in charge of the projects' cost estimating, in line with the bidding and deliverables schedule Manages the external design and engineering firms Coordinates the internal support functions' involvement in the projects Meets with the client in the project definition phase Ensures the projects' technical design Defines the client's specifications to optimize the project financially while guaranteeing its quality Construction phase:
Participates occasionally in the sub-contractor tendering process for an operation's particular needs Is available to the project teams to check the P0 and P1 budgets Assists the project team in the construction phase (if required) QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning or similar
A minimum of five years' experience in the construction industry
Languages spoken: fluent English necessary; French is a plus
