Description Do you enjoy transforming data into actionable insights taking a data-driven approach to solving complex business problems We are looking for a proactive senior data analyst to help us transform the services market.In this role, you will ensure there is a single source of truth for all metrics and that all stakeholders receive critical insights at the right time to make data-informed decisions.
You will work hand-in-hand with our Management Team and with Business and Engineering departments to provide overall direction and oversight of our data management.You'll be responsible for creating actionable insights from data for all departments.
In order to make data-informed decisions, we need smartly designed reports, data visualizations and further definition of effective performance metrics.
You will be the most senior data analyst in the company, and therefore you will be the role model for all the analysts, responsible for setting the example on best practices.Main ResponsibilitiesCovering the role of Senior Data Analyst, developing an analytical roadmap and ensuring has the right processes and capabilities to enable insight-driven decisions.Ownership of financial metrics definition and reporting in collaboration with the Finance team and the CEO.Supporting the other analysts on effective problemsolving, analytical methods, data visualization principles and providing insights to stakeholders.Being a data evangelist and a role model when to translating data into actionable improvement recommendations, this includes sharing complex findings with all organizational levels (non-technical audience included)Developing strong relationships across departments and being a trusted partner that supports business proactively by identifying opportunities and proposing analytical projects.Planning and execution of the roadmap, operational problem solving when required.RequirementsDegree in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, Business Administration, or related field.5- years of experience in data or business intelligence.Solid experience in a consumer-focused online company, with a proven record in building data products that had significant impact on business.Deep understanding and ability to create meaningful and functional analysis, dashboards and visualizationsProven experience in leading projects, defining processes and tools, and effective communication of insights while managing senior stakeholders.Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, R or other business analysis complex tools.Proficiency in visualization tools like Tableau.Strong level of client-facing skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts with confidence and clear recommendations to a non-technical audience, leadership representatives and board membersEntrepreneurial mindset together with a hands-on approach; a great strategist and executor at the same timeFluent in English, good Italian is a plus
